Update: Life Happens. I have been absent from the game, the forums and the Wiki since February 2011. I returned Dec 2011. There was SO MUCH changed - I was lost in Juno (laughs) - and there are so many new NPC's and Quests that I don't even know where to begin??
I was considering beginning another character since there are so many changes to the game... but instead I decided I'll take Lady Novelti and bring her "up to date".
I spend most of my time on Sarissa, hanging out in Merac. My main character is LadyNovelti, a level 50 Mage Wizard, but I also have created a Knight "Sir Valkyrie" who is my gold farmer. He's a great gold farmer and can make me 100 Mil in about an hour. My plan is to get him to LVL 45 so he can use the LVL 49+15 dual swords I have waiting for him. As of 2/9/12 I have just lvl'd to 44 YAY - almost there! Once he is at LVL 45 then I'm switching back all of my leveling energies on Lady_Novelti.
I am Guild Master of the SwordsofTruth Guild. It was started by other players, and I was made GM in 2009. I turned over GM to another player early 2010 and have just taken it back again, but I haven't begun recruiting again and won't until I get Lady Novelti where I want her.

Okay, I think I've done all I can do for "this theme".... It's almost too busy as it stands but (shrugs) I like it. All my characters are represented. My LVL 37 Mounted Knightmare - Storm Prancer, my LVL 37 Mounted Dragon - Rammoth and My LVL 48 Jaguar - Ashteroth. I also have a LVL 54 Srachi - Tyrant, but Like I said it was too busy already.

My favorite LC Things....
My favorite class is Mage & Knight.
My favorite pet is hard to decide because I have a LVL 37 Mounted Horse, LVL 37 Mounted Dragon, LVL 54 Scrachi and LVL 38 Jaguar. I love riding the horse and dragon, but my jaguar is by my side at all times during battle!
My favorite places are Merac-Caron, and Strayanna. I'm always on non-pvp servers because the one thing I absolutely hate... and I mean ABSOLUTELY HATE is when cowards run up behind you while you are mobbing and kill you. If you are too much of a coward to come at me face-to-face, then you should go back and kill foxes.
My favorite thing to do is Kill Monsters! Lots and Lots of them! I love Mobbing!

4/5/12 Lady Novelti is now LVL 75. I'm currently trying to collect the Full Set of Erraticrat armor by killing Erraticrat over and over and over again LOL. Everything below levels is blue now (pouts) so not much gold and NOOOOO drops LOL... but I still have white titles as soon as I walk up the first flight of stairs so I'm not tooo bored going through it over and over again. Baron Elyse drops Erraticrat armor also, but interestingly Blood Terrain has stopped dropping anything, not even gold now. I have a perfectly good armor set 75-77 that I might just go ahead and upgrade a bit more rather than spending too much time on this special set. I've been looking to see in the forums if there is any indication of how/why it's special so I know if I'm wasting my time or not and so far I haven't seen anything.
3/4/12 Lady Novelti is now LVL 70. Wow 15 new quests! Wow! Once I hit the Temple of Forgetfullness I can't believe how quickly I jumped from LVL 53 to LVL 70! Awesomeness, although I can't quit instantly dying by an unknown, unseen force in the room where you have to kill all the "Eyes" that keep spawning into littler and littler eyes.
2/15 - Lady Novelti is now LVL 56. I am able to be in the Temple Of Forgetfullness in Dratan and survive, which is giving me allllll kinds of exp. I went from LVL 53 to 56 in two nights! Awesome! Saw a player in game BEGGING to use someone's mount "Just for 5 minutes please" LOL LOL. Funny thing, anybody high enough in LVL to have a mount doesn't need to be warned against "loaning" out their mount, so instead I had a long talk with the asker LOL. They said they wanted to use it to fly to the herb gardens outside Juno so I explained to them about the NPC scroll and how they could use it to teleport close to anywhere on the map (in this case to Farmer Ben). They told on themselves BIG Time when they became insulted and told me "I know... my other character is a LVL X Rogue and I have a mount!" Scammer??
Sometimes I just have to shake my head and wonder if anybody ever truly falls for this stupid stuff and if this person actually thought someone would just turn over a mount? I wonder if their Rogue's Mount was gotten through ill gains..?? Oh well, they may have been legit but "shrugs"
2/11/12 - Found TONS more Fantasy Art that I admire and "respect" (as a fellow 'self proclaimed' artist). Added it for your viewing pleasure - and mine. I wish my talent was 1/100th what I display on these pages! I would give anything to be able to create artwork like that above! My artwork is no where near this level and although they say practice makes perfect... there also has to be some inborn talent as well. My talent will never be at this level!
2/10/12 - YAY! Level 45 reached on Sir Valkyrie! Phase 1 of my plan is now complete and now I have a very strong gold farmer who can make me 100M in an hour and pet level at the same time. The pink drake egg I hatched on Sir Valkyrie is now at level 30 and when it reaches 31 I'll sell it and start on the blue pony. Now I'm back to Lady Novelti and getting her leveled up and actually "Playing the game" again.
2/9/12 - Last night I reached LVL 44 on Sir Valkyrie! Almost at my goal of having him at LVL 45 to use the LVL 49+15 Dual swords I've got waiting for him. I don't want to level him any higher because of where I am gold farming! It works perfectly! Lots of AGRO mobbing, with a lucky scroll and drop boosters they drop 3 items each kill (which I sell) and they aren't the least bit interested in my pet!
I'll probably reach 45 today or tonight and so once he gets there I'm going to focus all of my energy back on Lady Novelti! It's time she starts exploring all the new things there are to see since I left last year in Feb!
I haven't made any new friends yet this go round, but then I'm not really emotionally up for a lot of chit chat right now while I'm playing. Basically I'm using LC as my "escape" from life's troubles and so I'm content to just kill, kill, kill and kill some more.
1/31/2012 - I've been playing the game daily / nightly now since my return. I've been mostly concentrating on gold farming for right now and leveling up a little pink drake at the same time (now level 26). Was going to keep the Pink Drake when I got it to 37 and sell my existing 37 mounted Dragon, but now I'm learning there are no more "Pet Color Removal" potions / pills / scrolls (whatever they were) and if I change the Dragon to her signature color of gold (Queen Rammoth the Gold Dragon from Dragon Riders of Pern) then I will never be able to have her pink again - which I think would de-value her (in my opinion). Shrugs... now I don't know what I'm going to do with the Pink Dragon.
I've got a great system down for gold farming with my Knight and can make 100 Mil in approximately an hour using lucky scrolls and drop boosters to get the max drops possible to sell. Yes it's costing me AP (for the boosts and the Merchant Ticket to sell anywhere) but what's that old adage? "You gotta spend money to make money?"
I've been bouncing back and forth between keeping the original guild name "Swords of Truth" which is years old, or renaming something of my own choosing. I inherited Swords of Truth because the founders abandoned Sarrisa for Hatzring when it was newly created. They tried to talk me into moving over with them but I was not a power leveler as they were, and I had worked really hard to get to the LvL 42 I was at the time and didn't want to abandon the character. So I stayed and took over Swords of Truth and paid to level it to 6 so we could get all the benefits.
This is what I'm bouncing back and forth - A new name - a facelift before I start recruiting again for the guild ORrrrrrr- keep a name that is old and known and familiar? I keep telling myself that although SOT has been around forever, and used to be a guild to be reckoned with... it has laid dormant for years now and so the reputation it used to have is all but gone I'm sure.
I don't know if anybody ever reads my profile, and sees my updates... but if you do, and you have any input into whether I should keep Swords of Truth as the guild name I'd love to hear any feedback!
1/10/2012 - Returned from a long Hiatus on 12/29/2011 - I was gone sooo long - I really missed the game. Separation after 18 years of marriage, even when it is your idea, will send you for a loop - especially considering the reasons behind it. It's been since August and I feel like I'm finally getting my feet back underneath me now and wanting to be "myself" again so here I am, once again, hopefully to re-aquaint with some old friends and maybe make some new. What better "second life" than LC - ooops - did I steal another game's name (stupid game in my personal opinion - tried it once - long enough to log on and create a character - didn't last much longer than that LOL)
3/13/2011 - Leveled to 50 about 2 weeks ago, and then haven't been able to log on. I'm working about 80 hours a week - trying to get caught up on some things, buy some things I've wanted for a while and haven't been able to afford, and put a nest egg underneath myself.
1/27/2011 - Leveled to 49! YAY!!
The last time I got disconnected, it was because I keep freezing in the dungeon and have to manually DC. It's very frustrating at times, especially when you have reached PINK on your meter and you have to log.... yep... you lose it and start again.
1/3/2011 Well, I don't know what I hate more... cowards who run up behind you while you are mobbing and kill you on pvp servers... or..... KS'ers on non pvp servers.
I was in the dungeon, LVL 3 with the beast flyers, and this Knight (blue name) "ferpie" runs up and starts killing off the mob I have gathered. That always angers me because there are more than enough of those creatures in that room for other players... the room is definitely large enough for more than one player to have plenty of room, the Beast Flyers agro once you attack one... and I've successfully been in there with multiple players. But noooo... this little twirp has to come and take the last blow on a mob I've been flaming (Mages have spells that attack up to 8 creatures at once so they are all getting lower on their HP at the same time).
Yes, he was successful because my jag started telling me "this item has been reserved for another player"... argh.
I did one thing I probably should not have... I gathered as many as I could and brought them to him. I figured "Hey... you want them? You can have them.... ALL! Let's see if you can handle it"... He handled them all just fine LOL... so I just started standing back. My friend Karton entered and this "ferpie" starts to KS him as well. So we decided if that was how he wanted to work the room, we'd just do the same. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
So for about an hour Karton and I just killed every creature he targeted. I'm not sure if he even knew because it didn't deter him but at least I got some drops and EXP and SP, and wasn't so frustrated about being KS'd.
ARGH! 1/1/2011 Happy New Year, but once again. just as I saw the tip of the pink starting, right during "dungeon time" too.... I ended up freezing, and lagging so badly that I decided to transport out of the jail and back in to see if that would fix it.... black screened on the way out and ended up having to reboot my computer. Oh Well.... at least I've been pink ONCE (laughs)... or I wouldn't know that the final color is pink huh?
DC'd again tonight (12/27/10) - Experienced MAJOR lag while mobbing Beast Flyers. I haven't lagged like that in months and months! I ended up frozen with the "dink" noise when I tried to click and had to actually do a ctr-alt-del to get out. Scary thing was that it shut my entire computer down and did a restart. Had me worried for a second but everything came back up okay!
I'm having trouble all of a sudden with the table that holds my pics. To me sometimes the blue lines are all there separating the cells, and sometimes they aren't. Can someone just take a look and see if they are there or gone when you go to my profile?

It seems to me there have been a couple of weeks here recently when I have not been able to log in, or gotten dc'd on a Tuesday night for maintenance as usual, but then turn around and can't log in because of maintenance the following night (Wed) as well? Is there a maintenance schedule change or have there just been a lot of glitches to work out the day after?

I updated my profile with my latest thoughts and musings... and even though I sent him a private compliment and message, I also want to publicly acknowledge Andaro's awesome work and contributions to our wiki! When I stopped playing a year ago socketed items and gear could not be stored, traded or sold and so I didn't even check into how, when why or what because of that. Since that has now been changed I decided I start to learn about all of it. Andaro's contribution "Socket System Visual Tour" is not only extremely informative and easy to comprehend... but it''s cute as hell!

I'm excited about the fact that socketed gear can be stored and traded - I wasn't going to socket ANYTHING LOL - now I guess I'll have to give it a try although I'm a bit confused about the jewel upgrading page here. It's pretty clear on how you WON'T get a next level jewel... but it doesn't really explain HOW TO get a next level jewel - yes it lists the scrolls, but doesn't really tell what each does in a way that's understandable to a socket newbie (raises hand). Anybody want to clarify for me I'd appreciate it -
So far I don't feel very interested in any of the new pets and am still partial to my horse, dragon, scratchi and jag - I do LOVE the new Juno! Awesome scenery in and outside the castle walls! I really like how it's laid out now... much more organized! I Like! I also love how they got rid of the spammers - well at least I read in the patch notes that they are attempting to by charging for trade chat and not allowing regular chat until a certain level - That was really really smart!
I've honestly been considering changing my character name. It's a tough decision because Novelti has been my "pen name" if you will for as long as I've been gaming and before that on anything I authored. There's a very old story behind the name - and just like your tattoo means something to you - my alias means something to me - speaking of tattoos I even have it tattooed on my body. But I'm needing change - Lots of it - and drastic! I guess that happens when you leave an 18 year marriage - EVERYTHING in my life needs a facelift.
I'm of Irish descent (could ya tell by the red hair?) and in keeping with the game theme I researched some Irish Goddess names. There's some really awesome names! Don't know yet - still contemplating. I need to find out if I can go back to my old name or if it's gone once you change it.
