The Halloween event for 2007 consisted of baskets, candy, Pumpkin Ghosts, and pumpkins.

What you can get from turning in baskets -
When you turn in baskets, you will recieve one of the six types of candy.

Lizard's Tail CandyLizard's Tail Candy Frog Leg CandyFrog Leg Candy Mosquito's Eyeball CandyMosquito's Eyeball Candy

To get baskets, you must kill monsters that are white-named to you and equal to or slightly above your level. For example, if you are level 30, then monsters that are level 30, 31, and 32 will drop baskets for you. Monsters that are level 28 and 29 will also have white names, though these will not drop baskets since they are lower than you. So check up on those monster levels before you go hunting!

What you can get from turning in candy -
If you have at least one of each type of candy, you may turn them in and receive a Jack-o'-lantern hat. Jack-o'-lantern hats are necessary for you to be able to see the Pumpkin Ghosts.

Pumpkin HeadJack-o'-lantern hats have defense just like normal helmets. All the Jack-o'-lantern hats give you 50 physical defense and 20 magical defense no matter what your character level or class is.
Because of the magical defense, these are great for fighting magical creatures.

But guess what?

Evil EarsThe free Evil Headbands are actually even better!
Those give you 30 physical defense and 30 magical defense.

What you can get from eating one of the six types of candy -
When you eat a candy, you will receive a message saying that it has one of the five possible tastes. Each taste is like a buff that has a temporary effect on your character.

Heavenly tasteHeavenly taste Movement speed and max HP are increased by 20% for 5 minutes.
Good tasteGood taste Max HP is increased by 20% for 5 minutes.
O.K. tasteO.K. taste Movement speed is increased by 20% for 5 minutes.
Bad tasteBad taste Movement speed is decreased by 20% for 2 minutes.
Terrible tasteTerrible taste Movement speed is decreased by 20% and max HP is decreased by 30% for 2 minutes.

As you eat the candy and get random tastes from it, you may also receive vouchers. There are two types: The Voucher of good taste and the Voucher of bad taste. You will receive the Voucher of good taste when you eat a candy that gives you a Heavenly taste, and the Voucher of bad taste when you eat a candy that gives you a Terrible (aka. Disgusting) taste. The in-between tastes will not give you vouchers.

These vouchers are found in your "Event inventory," which can be accessed by pressing the bottom left tab on your inventory screen. Vouchers may not be bought, sold, traded, dropped, or picked up--just looked at.

What you can get from turning in vouchers -
When you turn in vouchers, you may receive a witch or a wizard hat. To get a hat, you must turn in a Voucher of good taste as well as a Voucher of bad taste. The hat you get depends on your class. The females (Healer, Mage, Rogue) get witch hats and the males (Titan, Knight, Sorcerer) get wizard hats.

Pumpkin GhostPumpkins are dropped by Pumpkin Ghosts, which you must be wearing a Jack-o'-lantern hat to be able to see. Pumpkin Ghosts are about level 20, so they will be blue-named to most of you. You can still hunt them anyway, as it seems that level difference does not affect their drop rate. Not all Pumpkin Ghosts will drop pumpkins for you, so don't be too surprised if you draw a blank a couple times in a row.

<-- Yes, they're pretty big. But they're passive, have a lot of HP (~4700) and defense, and a very low attack. So don't be afraid of 'em!
