NPC: Archbishop / Randol City / Juno
Level requirement: 21 - 24
NPC Overview: (Juno Archbishop) Greetings! At long last someone with the look of a real adventurer! Tell me, have you ever traveled in the Dratan region? There are many ongoing historical studies and investigations about the race of Humans from Dratan who followed Akemon in the Race Wars. Perhaps if you plan on passing through Dratan again you could deliver a letter for me? This letter is for Archbishop Mazar in the town of Dratan. If you speak with Teleporter Eteal, beside the castle of Randol, he will teleport you to Dratan
Simple Objective: Deliver the letter from Juno's Archbishop to Dratan's Archbishop.
NPC Conclusion: (Dratan Archbishop) Hmm... the Archbishop in Randol sent you to simply introduce yourself to me? Oh... heh... he got you good this time. Do you know what is in this letter? This is an old document I requested from the Archbishop that describes the pilgrimage route of the Titan tribute from the west Algol region to the Midran region. I am sorry, Hero, but you came here for nothing but an introduction. Perhaps we can make this work to your advantage--I know there are others in town who may need your skills. Seek them out, Hero.
Reward: Experience 81,000, Choose item: Moon Stone [2] or Green Stone [1]

Quest name: Archaeologist Jajan Request
NPC: Archaeologist Jajan / Dratan City / Dratan
Level requirement: 21 - 24
Other requirement: Must have 1,090,000 Experience (93.94% of level 21).
NPC Overview: (Jajan) The lands in the Dratan region used to be the same as in the western Algol region where the Titans used to live. Its soil was fertile and it was rich in mineral deposits and energy wells. But the curses of the gods changed the climate and poisoned the land during the war. I am curious about the kind of power that made the Algol region so infertile. I believe the Skeletons that now reside in the Velpist Temple in Juno may hold the answer.
Simple Objective: Collect 4 Cursed Bones. These can be gotten from the Corpse Rangers, Skeleton Soldiers, Skeleton Lancers, and Corpse Sergeants in the Velpist Temple, Juno. Deliver the bones to Archaeologist Jajan.
NPC Conclusion: (Jajan) Heavens above! Cursed Bones! I have read about them in the ancient scrolls but this is the first time I have ever seen them. I am not sure if I can learn anything more from them, but it is bad enough to know that they are a part of this.
Reward: Experience 93,000, SP 2
Additional note: Cursed Bones are hard drops to get. It is recommended that you collect them before you accept the quest, as your chances of getting a Cursed Bone drop seem to be increased when you aren't actually looking for them.
--------------- --------------- ---------------
Quest name: Historical Verification of Jajan
NPC: Archaeologist Jajan / Dratan City / Dratan
Level requirement: 22 - 25
Other requirement: Must have completed the quest titled Archaeologist Jajan Request.
NPC Overview: (Jajan) Bah! My last Resonance Stone has been broken. I need a Resonance Stone to attempt to read the memories in the Cursed Bones. If I can read the memories in the Cursed Bones, I will be able to decipher the curses of the gods and perhaps one day undo the damage they have done to our lands. If you can obtain the materials I need to craft a new Resonance Stone, I will give you a rare armor used by the followers of Akemon during the race wars. The Resonance Stone is made by distilling and hardening small solids abstracted from the tears and feathers of Harpies.
Simple Objective: Collect 5 Harpy Tears and 5 Harpy Feathers. These can be gotten from the Harpys and Harpy Queens. Deliver the tears and feathers to Archaeologist Jajan.
NPC Conclusion: (Jajan) Back so soon? I would thank you, but I am giving you an item that is more than thanks enough. I will look for you if I need your services again.
Reward: Experience 125,000, SP 5, Choose item: Level 21 Shirt+1 [1] or Level 21 Pants+2 [1]
Additional note: You must have exactly 5 Harpy Tears and 5 Harpy Feathers to be able to turn them in to Jajan and complete the quest. If you have any more or less than 5 of each, the Jajan will not accept them.

Quest name: Hobby of Billionaire Jiore
NPC: Archbishop / Dratan City / Dratan
Level requirement: 22 - 25
Other requirement: Must have completed the quest titled The Route of the Titans and must have 1,500,000 Experience (99.07% of level 22).
NPC Overview: (Dratan Archbishop) How fare your travels through the wastes of Dratan, Hero? Tell me, do you know why the Titans and the Humans tried to wipe each other out in the race wars of old? Eres first created the Titans as pawns in his effort to rule the mortal races, but Apollon gifted the Titans with intelligence and self awareness so they kept to themsleves and stayed out of the affairs of the gods. Then the region of Algol, home to the Titans, slowly became poisoned and infertile. Eres had cursed their lands and forced the Titans to migrate into the Midran region at the center of the continent of Iris. The Humans of Iris primarily lived in Midran, and most grew weary of the Titans' migrations into their lands. In the beginning it was peaceful, until a leader of the Humans, Akemon, began to put fear and distrust of the Titans into the hearts of man. Akemon, poisoned by the will of Eres, began to lead raids on Titan villages, burning them to the ground and leaving none alive.
Simple Objective: Deliver the letter from Dratan's Archbishop to Billionaire Jiore. Billionaire Jiore is in Dratan City, Dratan.
NPC Conclusion: (Jiore) Hey! This is my letter! I sent this to the Archbishop many years ago. How came you by this, stranger? And how would the Archbishop feel about it going missing from his keep? You are more of an enigma than I had originally thought, Hero.
Reward: Experience 105,000

Quest name: Translator Edgar Old Document
NPC: Billionaire Jiore / Dratan City / Dratan
Level requirement: 23 - 26
Other requirement: Must have completed the quest titled Hobby of Billionaire Jiore.
NPC Overview: (Jiore) Good day adventurer! If you are not too busy, could you do me a favor? It will not be a difficult one. I love to collect and read old manuscripts and texts. However, I do not know all of the ancient alphabets, so many of the old characters are completely foreign to me. I hired a translator to transcribe versions of my collection into today's common tongue, but... well, the translator, Edgar, is a picky person. For his translations he not only requires money, but also Soft Sand as payment. So I always have to prepare the Soft Sand along with the money. Sigh... his hobby is as bizarre as his character. Anyway, if you could gather the Soft Sand from the Sand Golems and bring it back to me, I could get the rest of my texts translated. Will you help me?
Simple Objective: Collect 10 Soft Sands. These can be gotten from the Sand Golems. Deliver the sands to Translator Edgar, who is camped just south of Dratan City, Dratan.
NPC Conclusion: (Edgar) Yes! This is the Soft Sand! Many thanks Hero.
Reward: Experience 210,000, SP 5, Choose item: Level 21 Shirt [1] or Level 21 Pants+1 [1]
Old Dratan
Additional note: Soft Sands are anextremely rare drop. If you have not already acquired the necessary sands at the time you accept the quest or are having trouble getting them, try hunting in the Sand Golem area at coordinates 2700,600. Those Sand Golems are closer together than most other groups, so you will have a higher chance of a Soft Sand drop in the amount of time you spend killing. Note that Elite Sand Golems will dropdouble Soft Sands.

Quest name: Town Administrator Len Word
NPC: Town Administrator Len / Dratan City / Dratan
Level requirement: 23 - 26
Other requirement: Must have 1,880,000 Experience (96.10% of level 23).
NPC Overview: (Len) What? Oh, sorry. I am plagued by a trouble-maker in the village of Dratan. I have no clue why an educated person would cause so much trouble. What is that? Who am I talking about? Why that con-artist Jajan. He calls himself an archaeologist or something, and then he asks travelers to go on ridiculous quests. They think they are helping, but all they ever do is supply him with the materials he needs for his mischief. Please do not tell me that you were tricked by him, too? Why are you adventurers always so gullible! Well, now you are going to work for me and hopefully fix some of the damage you have caused. Recently, people have found ancient scrolls and texts in the Velpist Temple located in Juno and in the Prokion Shrine in Dratan. If we can decipher those, we will be able to harness the power of the gods. Go speak with Mazar, the Royal Guard Leader in Dratan.
Simple Objective: Talk to the Royal Guard Captain of Dratan City, Dratan.
NPC Conclusion: (Dratan's Guard Captain) Hmm... Len sent you, eh? If you want to know about the relics from the temple, you will have to visit the Royal Guard Captain with Archaeologist Shuraine.
Reward: Experience 80,000

Quest name: Rowel's Favor
NPC: Armor Trader Rowel / Randol City / Juno
Level requirement: 24 - 26
NPC Overview: (Rowel) Welcome, Hero! I am the Armor Trader Rowel. I have heard many villagers speaking of your deeds. I beg of you, would you do me an urgent favor? I cannot find anyone else. I supply various people in the kingdom with high-quality products. My best customer is Wild Collector Kal, who camps near the Velpist Temple in the west. He collects rare and wondrous materials that I use to make my best armor. I still owe Kal for his last shipment, and he refuses to bring me more materials until he is paid. I have so many orders to fill, I cannot stop to take him his payment. Hero, I would beg of you this favor. Please take this letter and payment to him. Could you do this for me?
Simple Objective: Deliver the letter from Armor Trader Rowel to Wild Collector Kal.
NPC Conclusion: (Kal) Hmm... what? Who are you? Oh, I see... you came for Rowel. What? A letter? Here, give that to me. Hah! I thought that old fool was never going to pay me. I should have known better. It is not surprising that he is so busy. Thank you Hero.
Reward: Experience 50,000, Haste Potion [3]

Quest name: Horn Beast Skin
NPC: Wild Collector Kal / Juno
Level requirement: 24 - 26
NPC Overview: (Kal) Oops! Are you still here? Errr... can you help me? I cannot believe we have so many orders for Horn Beast Skin. Too many fools keep getting killed trying to collect them. Please, Hero, I need 10 Horn Beast Skins. If you bring them to me, I will reward you.
Simple Objective: Collect 10 Horn Beast Skins. These can be gotten from the Great Horn Beasts. Deliver the skins to Wild Collector Kal.
NPC Conclusion: (Kal) You are back! Oh, yes! You have them! Here you go, Hero. As you can see, I am not as cheap as Geres would want you to believe. Many thanks.

--------------- --------------- ---------------
Quest name: Dratan Royal Guard Leader Words
NPC: Royal Guard Captain / Dratan City / Dratan
Level requirement: 24 - 27
Other requirement: Must have completed the quest titled Town Administrator Len Word.
NPC Overview: (Dratan's Guard Captain) Archaeologist Shuraine is a real archaeologist under the employ of Dratan for many years now. He is currently trying to decipher the ancient relics we found in the temples in an attempt to learn the weapons and magics used by the gods. Personally, I am against the whole undertaking. Even though the gods have not appeared on the continent of Iris for many years, I fear they will still know when somebody crosses the line into their realm of knowledge. On the other hand, I am curious about the power wielded by the weapons and magic used by gods. I do not know how you know Len, but I will still introduce you to the Archaeologist Shuraine.
Simple Objective: Deliver the message from the Royal Guard Captain to Archaeologist Shuraine. Archaeologist Shuraine is camped to the east of Dratan City, Dratan.
NPC Conclusion: (Suraine) It must have been difficult to reach me, Hero--the surrounding lands are filled with many dangers. Well, since you have come this far I will tell you what I have learned. My studies of the lowest levels of the Velpist Temple in Juno indicated that our ancestors were slaves, ruled over by the gods. The gods are not for worshiping, Hero, they are our enemies. Ironic, is it not? Sometime in the future we will once again be at war with the gods, for they will not rest until we are once again their slaves.
Reward: Experience 175,000, Choose item: Moonstone [3] or Level 22 Helm+1 [1]

Quest name: Story of Crom
NPC: Weapon Trader Crom / Dratan City / Dratan
Level requirement: 24 - 27
Other requirement: Must have 2,305,000 Experience (92.05% of level 24).
NPC Overview: (Crom) Hey you! Yes, you. You look like you need some money. You want some work? We could make a lot of profit by fixing up old broken weapons. Now listen, I know that the Orc packs in the Prokion Shrine carry weapons they pick up from the ancient fields of battle. They are usually weapons that were forged in the dark furnaces long ago, but now long neglected and in disrepair. All we need are five Cracked Axes of the Orc packs, and we could make a nice pile of coin!
Simple Objective: Collect 5 Cracked Axes. These can be gotten from the Orc Axemen in Prokion Shrine, Dratan. Deliver the axes to Weapon Trader Crom.
NPC Conclusion: (Crom) Hmm, you got them! Excellent! Here is your share. I know it seems like less than I promised, but business has been a lot slower than I had hoped. Perhaps this bit of information will be useful to you and make up for the lack of coin.
Reward: Experience 270,000, Goldcoins 40,000, SP 3

Quest name: Request from Jajan
NPC: Archaeologist Jajan / Dratan City / Dratan
Level requirement: 25 - 28
NPC Overview: (Jajan) Why is it that people mock my studies as cons and folly? What is it about that Shuraine that people trust? Bah! He is a fool! I beg of you, Hero, will you do me one more favor? I will reward you well enough. I am now trying to remake the personal ornaments of the gods in accordance with the ancient texts. It seems that the raw materials of an Dark Orb are similar with the raw materials found in the gods' ornaments. I am not a fighter, Hero, and have no way to collect these Dark Orbs myself. Please get these for me.
Simple Objective: Collect 3 Dark Orbs. These can be gotten from the Orc Soldiers, Orc Axemen, Orc Fighters, and Orc Sergeants in Prokion Shrine; or from Dark Goddesses. Deliver the orbs to Archaeologist Jajan.
NPC Conclusion: (Jajan) Excelsior! I had my doubts about you, Hero, but no more! Thank you once again Hero. Now, please leave me in peace. I need to study this immediately...

Quest name: Another Identity of Shuraine
NPC: Weapon Trader Crom / Dratan City / Dratan
Level requirement: 25 - 28
Other requirement: Must have completed the quest titled Story of Crom.
NPC Overview: (Crom) Know this well, Hero. It was Shuin, Akemon's general in charge of all the armies of man, who brought the end to Akemon's reign. Have you ever read the doctrine of Akemon? It is truly idiotic! Only one clouded in the lies of Eres could have ever believed such nonsense, let alone preached it as law. Akemon taught his followers that the Humans were the only race that deserved to exist, and that all other races must be enslaved or destroyed. Shuin betrayed Akemon by disclosing his acts to the Anoel Dratum, ending his bloody race war once and for all. Shuin was killed and Akemon was dismembered in a public execution. Do Shuin's final actions make up for his original betrayal of the other races? One must wonder, eh, Hero?
Simple Objective: Talk to Archaeologist Shuraine.
NPC Conclusion: (Shuraine) Alas! Crom continues to spread his lies and half-truths! I am an archaeologist and blood niece to Shuin. I met him once when I was very young, and this was long after the Race Wars. Shuin led the rebels against Akemon, he never fought for that tyrant! You have come to the wrong place if you are looking for historical truths, Hero. Just know that Crom always gives people the wrong facts. Sorry for the misinformation.
Reward: Experience 158,000

If you can collect the Treant Leather for me, I would be grateful. Those beasts are slow, so this should be quite easy for you. I will give you a reward for every ten Treant Leathers you bring me. What do you think?
Simple Objective: Collect 10 Treant Leathers. These can be gotten from the Treants. Deliver the leathers to Wild Collector Kal.
NPC Conclusion: (Kal) Here is the reward for your effort. We never cheat anyone here.
Reward: Experience 100,000, Goldcoins 3,000, SP 3
Additional note: This is a repeatable quest. Treant Leather is a quest drop. The Treant Leather will appear in your quest inventory, not your normal one.
--------------- --------------- ---------------
Quest name: The Sand Golems
NPC: Occultist Pianon / Dratan City / Dratan
Level requirement: 26 - 29
NPC Overview: (Pianon) Golems do not usually hurt people at random. Only under the orders of their Master Sorcerer, or when someone threatens their creator, do they attack. However, the Sand Golems in the Dratan area have lost their Master Sorcerers during the race war. They wander the deserts aimlessly now and they attack all travelers passing too close to them in the Dratan region. Now the attacks come more frequently and I do not think there is an end in sight. So now I deal with the Sand Golems under the orders of our Feudal Lord. I can always use an extra hand if you are interested.
Simple Objective: Collect 10 Soft Sands. These can be gotten from the Sand Golems. Deliver the sands to Occultist Pianon.
NPC Conclusion: (Pianon) Excellent! This is exactly what I needed. Thank you!
Reward: Experience 250,000, Goldcoins 50,000, SP 5

Quest name: Heart-Shaped Diary
NPC: Lorraine / Randol City / Juno
Level requirement: 26 - 29
Other requirement: Must have 3,981,000 Experience (99.61% of level 26).
NPC Overview: (Lorraine) Are you traveling to the Merac region? If you are, could you do me a favor? The Magician Dien, in the town of Caron, has been looking for the Diary of Rainhart. Through much work I have procured the only copy of this tome. Would you deliver it for me?
Simple Objective: Deliver the Diary of Rainhart to Magician Dien in Caron Village, Merac.
NPC Conclusion: (Dien) You came from very far to bring this to me, Hero. Thank you. Rainhart was really the person who started the race war. His diary is like a history book showing the beginning and the end of the war. You see, Rainhart swore vengeance on all of the Titans. His father was Sir Banmidion, one of the four Human heroes and ruler of the Algol and the Midran borderlines. He was killed by a pack of drunken Titans during their pilgrimage to the Dratan region through the Midran region. The news drove Rainhart mad with rage. A thirst for vengeance drove him to kill Titans one by one in a desperate attempt to avenge his fathers death.
Reward: Experience 160,000, Magical Stone [1]

Quest name: Remnants of Akemon
NPC: Magician Dien / Caron Village / Merac
Level requirement: 27 - 30

The Butchers suddenly started terrorizing the Merac region as soon as word of the findings spread. Now they make robbing and thievery their business. Surely, the Butchers are following orders from their leader Beradben. Please hunt the Butchers and collect any orders you may find on them. I am sure ten will be sufficient to decipher their plans.
Simple Objective: Collect 10 Orders of Beradben. These can be gotten from the Butchers. Deliver the orders to Great Magician Minearm in Caron Village, Merac.
NPC Conclusion: (Minearm) I cannot believe that the remains of Akemon have been found... I could never forgive his followers! They washed the continent of Iris in the blood of the innocents! And now with all of this business with the Butchers. Dark times are upon us, Hero.
Reward: Experience 300,000, SP 5
Additional note: Orders of Beradben are not normal drops that can be bought, sold, or traded. You will receive one Orders of Beradben for every five to ten Butchers that you kill.

Simple Objective: Deliver the letter from Great Magician Minearm to Archaeologist Shuraine in Dratan.
NPC Conclusion: (Shuraine) Hmm. I thought Uncle Shuin's actions had exterminated all of Akemon's believers. I cannot believe that there are still some who would follow Akemon's ways of ignorance and hate. There must be somebody behind all of this.
Reward: Experience 150,000, Choose item: Level 27 Boots+2 [1] or Level 30 Gloves

Can you get some for me?
Simple Objective: Collect 5 Spider Poisons. These can be gotten from the Desert Spiders and Red Spiders in Dratan. Deliver the poisons to Healer Yabo.
NPC Conclusion: (Yabo) I am sorry I cannot pay you properly for this. But you can take some potions instead of money, if you would like.

Quest name: Origin of the Desert Spiders
NPC: Herbologist Trainer / Dratan City / Dratan
Level requirement: 28 - 31
NPC Overview: (Dratan's Herbologist) Hmm... I am not sure what your clothes are made of, but they do not look like they could stand up to the elements for long. Have you ever seen clothes made of Spider Thread? I am talking about the splendid, luminescent, and continuously swaying fabric that can only be woven from Spider Thread. It is hard to make clothes using regular Spider Thread, but the Desert Spider and Red Spider offer strong threads in large quantities that work excellently for weaving clothes.
Simple Objective: Collect 10 Strong Spider Threads. These can be gotten from the Desert Spiders and Red Spiders. Deliver them to Dratan's Herbologist Trainer.
NPC Conclusion: (Dratan's Herbologist) You got it! This is not the actual selling price, but I think you deserve a little more for your efforts.. Do not tell the other Herbologists.

In the ancient times the Salamanders lived in the flare regions in the magical world. I am not sure if that is the reason why, but armor and clothes made from Salamander Skin keeps you insulated from the cold and makes a person as tough as a Drake. Do you want to make money? Then bring some Salamander Skin to me!
Simple Objective: Collect 10 Salamander Skins. These can be gotten from the Salamander in Dratan. Deliver the skins to Armor Trader Rowel.
NPC Conclusion: (Rowel) This will be enough for three sets of armor! I wish I knew how to craft such armor, but alas I only sell these materials to the armor smith.
Reward: Experience 445,000, SP 5, Choose item: Goldcoins 90,000 or Level 31 Shirt [1]

Quest name: The Divine and the Infernal
NPC: Royal Guard Captain / Dratan City / Dratan
Level requirement: 29 - 32
Other requirement: Must have 7,300,000 Experience (96.00% of level 29).
NPC Overview: (Dratan's Guard Captain) Long time no see, traveler. I hear that the remains of Akemon were found? News like this travels fast through the lands. As I heard from Shurain, Akemon's teachings are not just a simple religion. His priests studied to combine devils with gods using arcane magics. Frightening? Yes, but even more frightening is that the old texts say they were successful. We do not know what exactly these experiments created, but there is a way we can try and find out. By using the Orc Ornaments, we can attempt to predict these things. These unnatural fusions of gods with devils were performed in the lower levels of the Prokion Shrine. I am sure the Orc Sergeants dwelling there will have what we need.
Simple Objective: Collect 10 Orc Ornaments. These can be gotten from the Orc Sergeants in Prokion Shrine, Dratan. Deliver the ornaments to Dratan's Royal Guard Captain.
NPC Conclusion: (Dratan's Guard Captain) Excellent, Hero, you have returned with the items we need. Many thanks.

Why is he asking me to cut off the tails from those scary creatures? I cannot even get close to those dangerous beasts, let alone hunt them! Would you get some Salamander Tails and give them to Great Magician Minearm for me? I will pray everyday for the gods' blessings upon you...
Simple Objective: Collect 5 Salamander Tails. These can be gotten from the Salamander in Dratan. Deliver the tails to Great Magician Minearm in Merac.
NPC Conclusion: (Minearm) You brought them on the request of Loraine? You must owe him a great debt, Hero. Salamander Tails are difficult to acquire and are extremely heavy to carry. Thank you, Hero. I hope this repays any debt you might owe Loraine.

Recently, people have been going missing and some have claimed that Death Goddesses are hunting in packs to the south. It will not be easy to kill them, but if we can thin their ranks, perhaps we can keep them from entering our towns. If you exit through the south gate and continue to follow the road to the south you will find them.
Simple Objective: Kill 35 Death Goddesses, then talk to Dratan's Royal Guard Captain.
NPC Conclusion: (Dratan's Guard Captain) Many thanks, Hero. Our countryside is now safer thanks to your efforts, and our military may have a chance against the remaining threat.
