Costume 2 is a new system that allows you to attach covers to your armor without the previous hassle of using melding books. Some of the covers also have seals to give you extra bonuses!

These new covers can be found in the in game item mall under the Packages section and here.

The covers are equipped and unequipped just as you would with regular armor, namely by just double-clicking on the items. You can now easily add/remove them and mix and match covers easier than ever! These covers last 30 days!
Some of these covers can be worn piece-by-piece, whereas others can only be worn as a whole. Therefore it is not possible to mix and match all of the Costume 2 covers

The inventory window now has two tabs in the upper left corner. The first tab shows your armor, weapon, pet, accessories as usual. The second tab has the slots for the Costume 2 covers.To the right, you can see how this second tab screen looks when empty.

Currently, there are different seals available on different Costume 2 cover.



These covers work on top of the traditional ones and Platinum Refining Stones. Thus you may use both covers and get both a defense bonus and the HP/MP bonus! if using both covers, the Costume 2 cover will be the visible one. You may still cover using the old covers and melding books, but only if you have not placed any sockets on your armor. You may use Costume 2 covers on gear that already has a PRS attached to it. Thus having both the benefits of upgraded gear and the Costume 2 covers!
