Update: December 29, 2008 -The
Merac monsters and
Temple of Forgetfulness monsters pages have been re-done. It's been interesting to learn some of the trivia about the different monsters. I was especially surprised at the things I learned about the Barren Eise and Blood Terrain. Did you know the Barren Eise is essentially an ancient living tome? And would you ever have guessed that the Blood Terrain is actually an experiement created to help out prison gods with research? I wish we got to know this kind of stuff in-game from the NPCs or quests. It would really help add to the storyline. You could base quite a few quests on these things.
Am adding the stories behind the different maps to the respective map pages. So far the
Juno map,
Velpist Temple map,
Dratan map,
Temple of Forgetfulness map,
Merac map, and
Egeha map pages are done.
Note to self: Remember to create a NPCs section. It's about time we had one. :)
Update: December 21, 2008 -The
Christmas event guide is up!
The new layout of the
Armor upgrades section is finished now, thanks to purpleflame stepping in and getting the last bunch of pages done. Backward/Forward links will be added as time permits. I will be busy this next week, but will work on them if I find time. The weapon pages under the
Equipment pictures section will also be getting these links.
Update: December 17, 2008 -The armor and IM pages in the
Equipment pictures section now have back/forward links at the top of each page. The
Weapon upgrades and
Armor upgrades sections are being overhauled. So far, the pages under Weapon upgrades have all been renamed to better reflect their contents and some of the pages under Armor upgrades have been split up to make them easier to navigate. Back/forward links will be added to them, too, when time permits.
Still working the changes for the
Monster information section. I got all of Merac and Maargadum done, then went to change table borders and accidently hit "Delete table". Unfortunately, there is no undo option when you delete a table. 'Twas a bit disheartening. Will have to redo all that work.
Update: December 9, 2008 -Three new pages under the
Monster information section have been added. They are:
Strayana Dungeon 1,
Dungeon of Souls, and
Strayana Dungeon 3. They contain information gathered from the official Korean LC site about the monsters in the three public dungeons that will be added to Strayana in the future.
The
Juno monsters page has been redone. The tables have been rearranged and monster trivia taken from the official Korean LC site has been translated and added. The trivia isn't necessary, but it adds a little more to the storyline and helps "explain" more about why the different monsters are the way they are. In the coming weeks the rest of the monster pages will be redone in the same way.
Update: December 8, 2008 -It appears that an
ignore function will be in the works for LC USA again very soon! This is great news. Players should be able to bear the gold spammers much better once it arrives.
Keep your spirits up about MCS and DCS. The GMs have known for a while that things aren't going well at all at sieges. It's obvious to anyone who goes that what's supposed to be happening (like what's said on the wiki) and what is actually happening are two different things. They have been working with the GS to test and document bugs and exploits. Fixes are hopefully coming sooner than later! Until then, avoid targeting or getting close to people with more than three lines of buffs under their names. Similar to the bug where writing a guild announcement more than 11 lines long causes an error report, being near someone with more than three lines of buffs under their names can cause error reports.
Update: December 1, 2008 - | Changed the wiki banner to one with a Christmas theme. I dug up my old screenshots from the last year's LC USA Christmas event and borrowed a reindeer from one of them. If there are reindeer books again this year, perhaps I can get a better quality shot. For now, this one is still awfully cute!
I also crafted a blinkie for advertising purposes. It makes a good avatar. :) |
