| There are two kinds of resources in an energy circle. One is called an Energy Stone and the other is called an Energy Rock. If you ask someone about the difference between them, you will most likely be told that they produce different kinds of energy waves. This is not true. Both resources produce the same energy waves. So if they both produce the same thing, why do they have different names? To help you differentiate between the type of resources that they are. Energy Stones are temporary resources. They will wear out and disappear after about 10 minutes of being gathered from. Energy Rocks, on the other hand, are permanent resources. These stay forever. Since Energy Stone are temporary resources, they will produce energy waves for you faster than Energy Rocks will. Because of this, Energy Stones are the best to absorb from if you are active at the computer. If you are going to go AFK for more than 10 minutes, then Energy Rocks are best. | Energy Stone |

| There are three different energy waves you can get: | |
| (Low-grade energy) | (Medium-grade energy) | (High-grade energy) |
| | To absorb from an Energy Stone (or Energy Rock), click on it. The window on the left should pop up. As you can see, it is asking you to choose between random absorbing and selective absorbing. If you choose to absorb randomly, you will have a chance of receiving any of the three different kinds of energy waves in any order. |
| | If you choose to absorb selectively, then you will have to specify which energy wave type you want. Many people absorb selectively because they say that they do not want or have no need for the other two types of energy waves. However, what they don't realize is that selective absorption is quite a bit slower than random absorption. |
| Absorption skills allow you to absorb energy waves faster. You may learn these skills from the Master Energy Builder NPC. To learn the skills or raise your skill level, talk to the Master Energy Builder and select option 1, "Learn skills." Here's a table showing the amount of SP needed to learn each level of the Absorption skill. | |
