What internet browsers work best for viewing the wiki?
I have tested Chrome, Internet Explorer, Maxathon, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari and they all work equally fine for viewing the wiki. Opera has caused some users to have trouble with the wiki's built-in navigation menu, but does fine for viewing the pages and their content. To help Opera users still be able to get around, we have created a
Wiki nav page. Wetpaint's built-in
Sitemap page is another good alternative, too.
What internet browsers work best for editing the wiki?
Mozilla Firefox by far works the best for editing the wiki and I recommend using it. Internet Explorer allows access to all the editing tools, but is slow when making edits or saving work and has trouble editing tables. Chrome, Opera, Safari do not support all of the editing tools. I have not tried editing the wiki through Maxathon.
Is it OK to create a new page for something that isn't on the wiki yet?
Yes! It's definitely OK to make a new page for information that isn't on here yet. I have just one request: please put the page in the correct section. If you're not sure where it should go, PM
Pimorez or
Eragon Argetlam and we will help you.
Where do you get all of your information?
Everything on this wiki has been written by the LC players. Most of the contributors play LC USA, but there are also some from LC Brazil, LC Germany, LC Korea, and LC Malaysia. The wiki is geared toward LC USA players, so the information it has keeps pace with the current LC version that the USA has. With our permission players from several of the other versions have borrowed the wiki content and translated and altered it to suit their country's version of LC.
The information on this wiki has been put together by individuals or groups of players working toward a common goal. Some of it is general knowledge that older players have shared, some is statistical data that has had to be gathered through testing, some involves equations that our math whizzes have discovered, some is info picked up by people simply browsing the marketplace, etc. etc. the list goes on. No matter how new or old a players, how much experience they do or don't have with the game, there is opportunity for them to help. And many do!
Are there any bugs with the wiki?
Yes, there are a few. But Wetpaint is always working to fix oversights and improve things, so they are not major concerns. The biggest bug is unintended soft returns (extra ENTER spaces) that mysteriously add themselves to a page when you save a page edit. This bug has always afflicted a very select number of wiki contributors and, recently, has been happening less. As far as I can tell, this bug is a side effect of using Internet Explorer to edit the wiki. To avoid it, use a different browser for editing.
What is the wiki's color scheme?
(Used in the banner, the strip along the top, the navigation buttons, the links, and in the tables.)
| #ccd9eb |

These are a good reference if you're making a table or chart and want to match the background colors with those on the rest of the tables in the wiki.

Why are the seven character classes and twelve jobs always listed in the same order? What is that order?
The seven character classes are listed according to the order that they were designed and added to the game. This is the same order that their equipment appears in NPC shops. The order is: Titan, Knight, Healer, Mage, Rogue, Sorcerer, Night Shadow.
Each class has two job options and two available weapons; each weapon corresponds to a job. The jobs are listed according to the attack strength of the corresponding weapon. The job with the weaker of the two weapons for each class is listed first. The order is: Warmaster (T), Highlander (T), Templar (K), Royal (K), Cleric (H), Archer (H), Witch (M), Wizard (M), Ranger (R), Assassin (R), Elementalist (S), Specialist (S), Night Shadow (N). Note that the Night Shadow has no subclass.
