Goldin's Healer guide
Alright... time to start first ever guide :)
First off here's some general information about Healers:
At low levels they are the weakest and most annoying class due to low defense and low attack, but that can be made up for with some good healing skills. To be able to move on with leveling you MUST max out most of the passives because the healers have some of the most effective passives and they also help out a lot. As you move on at leveling around level 30-32 people are going to start asking you to go to Egeha with them so that you can stand there and heal. as you are going to progress to higher levels you might take on more responsibility for damage and careful lures.
Healer: when you first start off as Healer its no big problem leveling but like all classes... you need to take it slow while your still low. the sp gained will help in the long term run. As soon as you reach level 5 spend all your sp on fast bow fixing and max it out as soon as possible. At that stage Heal is not nearly as important as fast bow fixing especially while normal heal still gives a good fix. DON'T spend any sp on getting Self Heal or Shining Arrow past lvl 2 because Shining Arrow is really not worth it and you will stop using it fast and Self Heal has less of a healing effect than normal Heal because you can use normal Heal on yourself easy by clicking on your name and than using Heal on yourself as if you selected someone else... that should provide the base for you to level until you reach job change at level 31. As you level and gain Xp you will also gain Sxp. When the Sxp adds on go and spend it right away on passive skills. Eventually it will help a lot to max out all the passives except Elven Walk because Healers are fast as it is. passive skill primary focus should be Arcane Knowledge and Rise Mana since when maxed Rise Mana will eliminate your need for all potions because it will regain mana fast and always keep you on top of good health by supplying energy for heals. and Arcane Knowledge gives you 100 defense when maxed. Thats the equivalent of 20-22 armor set +6. For general skills you should focus on Heal, Fast Bow Fixing, Party Heal, and Double Sting shot. Also get Resurrection lvl 1 so that people will love you more to have in their parties. As you level you should also be putting all stat points into dexterity
Following that strategy will give you a solid stand at level 31 where you can choose either to keep on going the healing way or become one of the most powerful people in the game. The archer has a variety of extensive debuffing arrows that also deliver a powerful punch. The Cleric will focus more on keeping its party big and strong with its cleric further extension of healing skills and attack-increasing buffs. Half of the archer skills will also increase your attack by a lot. cleric passives will give your an overall nice bonus to defense.
When switching from a Healer to Archer or Cleric you should consider the following: Did I skill farm enough at my lower levels? am I going to be a lonely ranger (Archer) or a battle medic (Cleric)? Is power that important to me? Do I know enough about both sides to make a good decision?
If you are going to become an Archer you will gain: much stronger attacks, a little bit of competition for power from other classes and people. what you are going to lose are strong buffs that give a batter healing effect, and you will also miss out on attack increasing buffs.
If you are going to become an Cleric you will gain more favor in Egeha parties than Archers due to your batter
heals and good attack buffs... what you miss out on is being one of the strongest classes out of all, and you will also become more dependent on parties to level. This is also where farming for skills is batter at low levels because now its much harder to do especially as a Cleric.
