You can reset and redistribute your pet's skills at any time you choose--and for free too! To have the skills reset, all you need to do is go talk to the Animal Trainer.

	When you talk to the Animal Trainer, this window will come up. To talk with the Animal Trainer about resetting your pet's skills, select option 6, "Reset Skills."

This window will show up next. Here, the Animal Trainer explains that by resetting your pet's skills you can trade it or sell it, or just redistribute the points into different categories. You may notice that the Animal Trainer says Skill Points. What he means is Technical Points. This is a description typo that would be nice to have fixed, but it's unlikely that will ever happen. From now on, you can just skip reading what the Animal Trainer has to say about resetting pet skills since you already know what's supposed to happen.

After you have selected option 1, "Reset Pet Skills" on the above window, this confirmation message will pop up. Click "Confirm." You may now talk with the Animal Trainer again and teach your pet new skills, or keep it unskilled for selling.
