Update: June 28, 2008 -
I've uploaded the wiki backup from today to FileFront. You can find and download it right here. I will update it and the link to it on this page whenever I get internet access. The zip holds a total of 456 files, 437 of those being the current wiki pages and 19 being wiki pages that once existed but are now deleted. All wiki pages are stored in .html file format. To use them, you have to download the zip, open it with a program like WinRAR, and look for the name of the page that you want the backup for. Once you've found it, you have to extract it from the zip. I usually just double-click the page and it automatically extracts itself and opens in FireFox for me. After the page is open you have to select and copy the page contents that you want (the CTRL+A and CTRL+C keyboard shortcut combination works great) and paste them on the corresponding wiki page here. The page here must, of course, be in EasyEdit mode.

Any pages that are restored from the backup files must have their links fixed and some of the text formatting re-done. For some reason, the links on the backup pages redirect to the other pages within the .zip, not the pages online.

Update: June 26, 2008 -
To all those of you who wondered where the site went for 9+ hours, Wetpaint had a long maintenance today. Things are back up and running now and it looks like the site is all still in one piece. :)

Sometime in the next couple days I'm going to host the .zip wiki backup file somewhere and post the download link to it here. Since I will not be around much at all in July and part of August, you guys need to have access to the backups so you can restore pages back to almost-normal in case they get messed up beyond easy repair. When I post the download link I will explain how to use the backups to restore pages.

It is summertime in the areas where most of the LC USA players are from, so there are a lot of new people--kids especially--coming through and starting to play LC. The amount of activity on the wiki has been increasing and will continue to increase all summer. To help make sure the wiki stays in fair condition I will be locking the "completed" pages that probably aren't going to need to have any information added to or deleted from them any time in the next month and a half. If a patch does bring changes that need to be added to a locked page, please contact purpleflame about it.

Update: June 23, 2008 -
Two wiki users under the names of DarkWolfe and EricClaptonFanSG have gone and put vulgarity and hacking ads on some of the wiki pages. Everything's cleaned up now and they both got themselves immediate bans. If you saw the edits, I am so sorry. Stuff like that has no place here. This wiki is clean.

Update: June 19, 2008 -
I recently discovered a great tool (Google Analytics) given to wiki admins for tracking site activity. I've been using it since May 31 and have been nearly blown over by the number of people visiting every day. Took some screenshots to share with you so you can see too. :)

Home - Last Chaos - Guides & Information

Most of the visitors are directly linking to the site (they open their browser and type in the URL) or getting here through Google, some are coming from two of the more popular German LC fansites/forums, and many of the rest get here through links on Aeria's forums and the forum profiles of LC USA players. Neat, huh?

Home - Last Chaos - Guides & Information

Aside from the main page, the page with the highest number of views is currently Class skills. No surprise there! People spend an average of only 30 seconds on it though. More than half of them quickly follow the links to the Royal general/passive skills pages or Mage and Wizard general/passive skills pages. From there they go to the stat point charts, then to the equipment upgrade stats, then some wander over to check out the equipment pictures or monster information pages.

Surprisingly, the greatest number of wiki visitors are from Germany. The US is running a close second and Canada is lagging a bit behind in third.

Update: June 14, 2008 -
Two new sections have been added this week!

The first is Class attributes, which has pages containing tables showing (or tables that will show):
  • The attributes each class starts out with.
  • The attributes they gain each time they level up.
  • The attributes each stat point gives them.
  • The total base amount of each attribute they should have between levels 1 and 30, assuming skills are maxed out.
The pages are not complete, but then again pages never are when they're first made. :)

The second section is Future skills..., under Class skills. The pages in that section give information about all the pending skill updates. These new skills and skill levels were accidentally added to LC USA in yesterday's emergency maintenance, then removed again in a second maintenance. This glimpse has gotten people wondering about them, so I've added their information to this site. When the skills are released in LC USA, the skill tables will be moved off the future skill pages and placed on the class skills pages.

In almost exactly three weeks I will be moving to the US. I will be here on and off for about a week after that, then completely offline for five to six weeks. I'm doing my best to get all these new updates--Dratan, Tomb, DCS, skills, equipment--added to the wiki before then. ;)

Update: June 11, 2008 -
The Tomb of Theos is out! That's the third public dungeon in Dratan, controlled by the guild that owns the Dratan Pyramid/Castle. And by controlled, I mean controlled. The owners set monster attack, monster defense, monster difficulty, entry fees, the works. GMAracton has written a short guide to it in this forum topic.

All Tomb monster stats can be found on the Tomb of Theos monsters page, except for the boss monsters which are on the Boss monsters page.

The Tomb has brought the level 85 weapons, level 85-87 armors, and some new types of accessories. The pages around the wiki dealing with equipment names, stats, seals, and appearances, and accessory names and stats will be updated as soon as possible.

Test server access has been temporarily revoked due to some issues. The floor map of the Tomb will have to wait a little while, unless a high level on the live server makes one. :)

Nice tool and very nice stats ;)
I am not too surprised that many visitors are from Germany, this wiki is very popular here (and there is no real German wiki). I think half of the German players (at least) know the wiki and if you know it you visit ;)

Maybe we should add a section about differences between German and USL or a translation list to make this wiki "global". I can translate/find the differences.
