Guide to Pet Training
***Still Under Construction***

Before I begin this guide there's one thing that needs to be said. Thus far AFK pet training is not a bannable offense. As long as you're not using anything to 'aid' you while you're AFK. So don't!

As far as I'm concerned the best way to make sure you won't need macro's to assist you while you're AFK is to make sure you're not getting hit by the mobs you're fighting, or at least not too hard. So I'll be concentrating on a pure dexterity build (just a little constitution later on for additional defense.)

Please note that when you are building your pet trainer, you will have a lot of SP to use. You may use it to build yourself a weapons maker, armor maker, or to get various crafting skills. Using the SP to get other skills, will free your main character to concentrate SP on his general or passive skills.

Level 37 Build:

Why even go so far as to make a level 37 pet trainer?
It takes time to train a pet. A lot of time indeed. Especially getting your pet from level 30 to level 37 (level 37 is where a Horse mount can get both Offensive Hauling and Defensive Hauling to level 10) takes forever. Doing so on a regular build would require you to monitor your pet's hunger level every hour or so. The higher level your pet is from you, the more food it requires. Getting your pet trainer to level 37 is going to be slow since you don't really have the power to take down mobs fast enough. So you might try using a Dragon Mount to level.

Or pour all your Stat Points into Strength until you reach level 32. Once there, change your class to Templar and get 2 Stat Points into Constitution and the other 31 into Dexterity. You should have enough Skill Points to get the needed Skills. After that you can power level your Knight to 37. Only downside to this is; you won't be able to use your Knight to train your pet.

Pet hunger
Here's what I, and others, have found thus far. As long as your level is above that of your pet it will only lose 1 hunger point per 5 minutes. Same goes for when your pet is the same level as you are. And when your pet is no more than 2 levels above yours. After that your pets hunger will increase dramatically. Should you wait too long your pet's hunger will reach 0 at which time the pet cannot move and does not gain any XP leveling points.

Mobs to pet train with Templar Knight at lv37:

All in Merac at Maargadum Jail

I'm using a complete armor set lv40-42+4 with shield and i can go afksih for as long as my pet can endure without eating lol...

Everything else is 100% accurate.

Note : The Maargadum Jail monsters above are all protective, and with the new changes in mob attack you should first test them out without going afk, as they can team up on you in rather large numbers ( depending on the room you are in ). So, besides the +4 set , if ur pet is still low level and does not give you much extra defense, consider some good evasion accessories.
