Some of you may have wondered what it's like to be a sorcerer, and more specifically, a specialist. In this guide I'll cover what you should train on, the equipment you should get, details on skills, and how to play a Specialist effectively from lvl 1-70.
Leveling
Level 1: At this level you should be in the starting dungeon. Keep using your Fire Swing skill to kill the monsters so that you reach level 2.
Level 2: When you exit the personal dungeon, you should be level 2 and about halfway to level 3. When you leave the dungeon, you will pick up a level 6 shirt. Press E to open your inventory and equip it. Now go west outside of the town and find some Foxes. They should die in 1 hit from Fire Swing and you'll level pretty quickly.
Level 3: Keep killing the Foxes for experience and skill experience until you hit level 4.
Level 4: At level 4, you should start trying to take down Elder Wolves. These are a little bit tougher, but they still shouldn't do much damage on you. Kill them until you reach level 5.
Level 5-7: At level 5, try the Dire Wolves and jaguars. Kill those until you hit level 8.
At level 5 your first 2 elementals are available as well as your Fire Wall personal dungeon skill. The Fire Wall skill is generally regarded as useless and I wouldn't recommend getting them. The Earth and Fire Elementals are free so pick those up. Also get Cursed Soul to at least level 2 if you have the SP. Press S after you get the skills. Click and drag them onto your hotkeys bar on the bottom right. Press the corresponding hotkey to use the skill. If you have the SP, I suggest getting fire swing to level 4.
Level 8-10: By now you should've saved up some money. Go back to town and talk to the armor trader in the northwest part of town. Try and get yourself some good level 6 armor. You will need to scroll down to find the armors for sorcerers. Buy all the pieces you can afford. If you don't have enough money, sell some of your stuff you got from killing things. If you have leftover money, buy a better weapon. Make sure the weapon isn't more than 4 levels above your level and your armor isn't more than 5 levels above yours or else you get a penalty. Once you're done with the purchasing, head out again. Go past the Foxes and the Wolves until you hit the Sasquatches. Summon one of your elementals (I prefer the earth one) and set it to the 2 sword option. That means it will attack whatever you attack. Hit the Sasquatch with Fire Swing and again when Fire Swing recharges. If you can kill the Sasquatch, then sit down, heal, and go for another one. If not, then you need to summon your elemental and set it to the 1 sword option. That makes it attack whatever's near it. When it dies, summon another elemental. Keep using your elemental to attack the Sasquatch until it dies or you can kill it in 1 hit with Fire Swing.
Now you can pick up the Wind Cutter general skill and the Empowered Elemental Passive skills. Get Wind Cutter to level 4, and the Empowered Elementals can wait.
Level 11-13: This is an ideal time to gather some skill points as Sasquatches give 1950 skill experience a kill now. Kill as many Sasquatches as you can until you level past 13.
Level 14: Once again, you're in need of an upgrade. Go back to town to sell your spoils and buy yourself some level 15 armor as well as a level 17 weapon. Buy 3 extra level 17 weapons. Take them to the transmuter, and turn them into smelting stones. Use those smelts on your weapon until it's +3. If you have extra smelts, use it on your armor. Do not get anything past +3 because then it can break. Now, go outside to the Sasquatches and run past them. Keep going until you hit the Elder Werewolves. Summon your trusty elemental and attempt to slay one of the monsters. If you have a +3 weapon and good armor you should be able to do it pretty easily. Do this until you hit level 15.
Level 15-17: Venture past the werewolves until you hit a bridge. Go north from the bridge until you hit Velpist Temple. Go inside and kill Corpse Rangers as well as Skeleton Soldiers to level. At 17, buy yourself a new weapon and get it to +3.
Now you can get your 2nd set of elementals. Go to town and pick up the Wind and Water Elementals. you can now have 2 elementals out at once. You can either do wind + fire or water + earth.
Level 18-20: This is when you start going for the bigger monsters. Kill Skeleton Lancers and Corpse Sergeants in Velpist Temple to level to 20.
At level 20, you can get your other Empowered Elemental Skills for your 2nd set of elementals. You can also get the Stone Skin general skill. I would say Stone Skin is much more important. Get it to level 5 if possible.
Level 21-31: You can say bye bye to Juno now. Buy yourself some new armor or upgrade your existing set before you talk to the teleporter in town and go to Dratan. When you arrive in Dratan, press w. Zoom out on the map fully. In the middle right there's something called Prokion Temple. This is where you will be heading. Go inside and kill the orcs that are closest to your level. Only stop to buy new equipment and keep going until you hit level 31. Make sure to save 50k gold for the level 31 class change.
This guide is focused on becoming a Specialist at level 31, so the level 25 Vital Conversion skill is completely useless. Do not get it at all. The level 30 skill you MUST get to level 5 in order to become a Specialist. Save up the appropriate amount of SP for this.
Level 31, The Class Change: At level 31, you get to change your class. you need 50,000 gold and your level 30 skill at level 5. This guide will focus on the path of the Specialist, which sacrifices its elementals to focus on transforming its body into a knight and demon form. You should only change class when you're 90% of the way to level 32. When you change classes, you lose your elementals, but you don't get your forms until level 32. Your stat points will reset, but before re-spending them, look at your skills and find out what stats you need for your skills. Put the appropriate amount of stats into every attribute that you need. Kill Orc Sergeants (you might want a party to help you level now) until you hit 32.
Level 32-40: Now at level 32 you get newfound skills and a lot more power. Go to Merac via the teleporter and kill Highlanders until you pass level 40. At this point you will need at least a +8 or higher weapon to kill effectively. Use heaven stones to do this.
At level 32 you get Firewind (demon) and Earthsea (knight) forms. These are free and require no SP. along with the forms come Earthquake and Inferno Volt. Max all these skills. At level 38 you get Sonic Break (VERY important skill) and Lightning Shock, however, the stat requirements won't allow you to get them until level 39 or 40. Make sure to max them ASAP.
Level 41-50: Now that you have one of the best stuns in the game, Sonic Break, you can venture into the more dangerous areas of the game. Find some of your level 40-ish friends and form a demon party. You will need at least 2 (preferably 3) stuns, a horse mount for horse buffs, and a party recall card. Pool your money together until you get 800,000 gold. Have the person with party recall go to Egeha via the teleporter and then recall the rest of the party. You will need to get to a demon spot. Someone in your party will probably know where one is. Kill Boucu Demons until you hit level 50 (this takes a while).
At level 41 you can get Stone Skin level 6, and I highly recommend you get this. At level 44, Enforce Firewind becomes available. This is a must too. At level 50, the passive Sudden Precision must also be maxed.
Level 50: At level 50, you need to SP farm on Salamander Ruins or Giant Larvas until you have a lot of SP. Gather as much as you possibly can, because SP gets a lot harder later on. It would be good to join a guild that's level 6+ so they can lock your XP. Gather at least 1,000 SP before leveling.
Level 51-64: You need a high level friend (80+) for this now. Buy 2 Platinum Blessed Irises and 100 Experience Boosters. Go to the Tomb of Theos in Dratan and have your friend power level you to 65. You will need a third person with party recall for this to work. If you're unsure how to get power leveled, ask your friend. you should get 230,000,000 experience a kill with boosters at the Anubis Spearmen.
At level 58, you can get Earthsea Enforcement level 6. At level 60, the passive Sudden Attack becomes open to you. Max this skill, it's important.
Level 65: At level 65, get a XP lock again and SP farm on Bogles. I recommend having a 69+15 weapon and some +6 armor before doing this. Gather around 5,000 SP this time. Use Platinum Super Skill Pills if you can.
Level 66-70: Get power leveled to 70 using the same method with XP boosters and Platinum Irises. Congratulations! You're now a level 70 Specialist! :D
P.S. Don't get the lvl 70 skill Winds Blessing, it's a waste of 2,000 SP.

Some people feel it is a waste given its cost. Others find the extra time very helpful.

Nice guide ;)
Just some comments about this guide:
1. You recommend to SP farm with Lvl 50. Its easier to get the SP while the monsters are lower, the sooner to get the SP the better. 2. One exception on the "the sooner the better-rule": Level to 67 and use Dark bogles instead of normal ones. Dark bogles are aggressive so its easier to kill them in groups with the "Knight" form, since they can be "collected" easier. 3. You can get the 38er Spells in time if you reskill and temporarely lose your Inferno skill for a while. I explained this in the new Sorcerer +31 page in the Test area. 4. The "empower element" passive skills are important (since they will make your invocations stronger). They should be maxed as soon as possible. 5. What about the other passive skills? (magical ressistance and the max life additions?)

You do not seem to make much mention of stat points below level 31. That is what I was trying to point out.
I think Myko is trying to point out that you make it seem that the elemental passives are not that important period -- and thus giving the readers the wrong impression.
So I would suggest putting this info from your reply in the guide as well. Not only does it make it more informative, but also more personal.
