Please look at the pages linked to below for detailed information about the monsters found roaming Iris and the various public dungeons. Names, levels, attacks, behaviors, etc. are all shown. Most of the information was taken from the Korean LC sites lastchaos.2pan4pan.com and lastchaos.barunsongames.com.

All monsters that are bosses have a "boss monster" label in red and written beside their level. All monsters that will damage pets have a "pet-eater" label in red and written as part of their behavior description.

All Boss Raid information can be found on the Boss Raid monsters and unique accessories page. See the link in the table below.

The level ranges given are the lowest and highest levels of the monsters on the corresponding map. You do not necessarily have to be within the level range to hunt or explore there, but it is recommended that you are.

Also make sure to check out the following sections for information on the more "special" or less commonly known and seen monsters.

Name colors and experience ratios -

Monsters have name colors that help give a general indication of their level. Here is how the name color scale works:

1:1 XP to SXP
2:3 XP to SXP
4:4 XP to SXP
5:3 XP to SXP
6:1 XP to SXP

As you can see, monsters 6 or more levels below you have blue-colored names; monsters 3-5 levels below have green-colored names; monsters within 2 levels of you have white-colored names; monsters 3-5 levels above you have yellow-colored names; and monsters 6 or more levels above you have red-colored names. You may sometimes hear of orange-named monsters, but these are the same as yellow-named ones. The exact color of the names monsters 3-5 levels higher than your character seems to depend on your computer screen. Officially, they are known as being yellow-named, so that is how they will be referred to here.

The XP to SXP ratios shown are not exact. They just give you a general indication of how much XP and SXP monsters in each level range will give you compared to monsters in the other level ranges. For example, white-named monsters give the most even XP to SXP ratio. Green-named monsters give you less XP and SXP than white-named monsters per kill, however in the long run they give you more SXP. Yellow-named monsters give you more XP, but less SXP per kill than white-named monsters. Red-named monsters are XP-heavy and give you very, very little SXP. Blue-named monsters are not worth killing because they give you hardly any XP and SXP.

If you desire to level up and gain SP at a steady rate, it is best to fight white-named monsters. When fighting yellow- or red-named monsters you will, of course, gain more XP because they are a higher level. However, as a penalty the amount of SXP they give will be reduced. When fighting green- or blue-named monsters you will also receive a penalty on the SXP and XP amounts. The exact penalties on monster XP and SXP are shown in the table below:

For XP, there is no further penalty beyond 6 levels below. Howwver, for SXP, the penalty continues with the same patern until it reaches a 90% penalty for creatures below your level and 95% for those above your level. The exact amount of XP and SXP you receive will probably differ from kill to kill. The XP amounts shown on the pages in this section are the maximum amounts you may receive from each monster as long as it is equal to or above your level. Maximum SXP amounts for many of the monsters are also shown on these pages or on the SXP guide page. To receive the maximum XP and SXP every single kill, you must be in a solo party.
