The Moonstatue is like a slot machine, though unlike with real slot machines you will always win something from playing the Moonstatue slots. To play, you need Moon Stones. There are a total of five different types or "grades" of Moon Stones.
Poor Moon Stone (Lowest grade)
| Average Moon Stone (Low grade)
| Moon Stone (Medium grade)
| Good Moon Stone (High grade)
| Perfect Moon Stone (Highest grade)
| These can be:
- Gotten from Moonstone Boxes, which are random drops from monsters
- Bought from other players
- Created by combining lower grades of Moon Stones in boxes bought from a general merchant NPC (Merchant Geres, if in Randol City)

When you click on the Moon Statue, the window on the right will pop up on your screen. The top area with the numbers shows the current jackpot. In the screenshot on the right the jackpot is at 10,000,000gold. For every Moon Stone spent on playing the Moon Statue slots, 200 gold is added to the Jackpot. When the Jackpot reaches 10,000,000 gold, it will become capped. So 10,000,000 gold is the maximum amount that you may win.
The five large pictures of Moon Stones are the slots that spin. The five smaller icons of the different types of Moon Stones (located below the slots) allow you to pick which type of Moon Stone you want to play the slots with. Click on the icon that matches with the Moon Stone type you want to use. Each time you click one of the icons, the slots will spin and one Moon Stone of your chosen type will be used up from your inventory. Press the "Stop" button to stop the slots and be given your prize.
The higher the grade of Moon Stone that you use, the better of a prize you will get. See the table on this page (scroll down a little way) for a list of the different prizes you can receive from each Moon Stone type.

You may use Moon Stone Combination boxes to attempt to upgrade your Moon Stones to a higher level. These boxes may be purchased from general merchant NPCs (e.g Merchant Geres) or from other players. Moon Stone Combination boxes may
not be sold to NPCs and
cannot be dropped. They may, however, be sold or traded to other players.
Attempting to upgrade your Moon Stones costs both Moon Stones and gold. There are currently four different Moon Stone Combination boxes, each of which has a different chance of success multiplier and cost.

always win something when playing the Moon Statue slots. Please see the table below for lists of what you can win from each Moon Stone type.
