Update: November 29, 2008 -To make things less cluttered, the pages under the
Pets section have been split up into two sub-sections:
Horses and Drakes and
Scra-chi and Ichi. Thanks to purpleflame, the pages have also gotten new names or had their prefixes changed to better fit their content, instead of just being general "pet" pages and "new pet" pages.
Update: November 25, 2008 -There is a new targeting system. Targeted monsters will now have a red circle around their feet while other characters and NPCs will have a yellow circle. Also, if you play with the name setting all the way down you will now have to actually click on a character to see their name. (Previously, just hovering your mouse over them was enough.)
The 1-month Party Recall Card has been removed from the Item Mall. The 1-week, 1-day, and 1-hour Party Recall Cards will from now on be added weekly in limited amounts. Depending on how commonly (or uncommonly) recalls become used in the future, their page of information may be removed from the wiki or grouped with another page.
Update: November 19, 2008 -I just discovered some more new features Wetpaint has added! They are:
 | - More options for table borders and some cell shading styles. While these could be done before, you had to do each border and cell or column/row manually. Now you just select the icon that corresponds to the style you want!
|
 | - The display picture of the user who made the latest page update now shows up at the bottom of the page, next to the usual information about updates and keywords.
|
| - There's a link to a new feature on the ribbon at the top of the page. The feature is called "Droplets". I have not gotten a droplet yet so I'm not sure about their details; but from reading their descriptions it looks like they're widgets that you can put on other webpages such as profiles and blogs. They allow you to see the most recent wiki activity on threads, the dashboard, and/or in this wiki's community.
|
Most recent pages being focused on:
- The New pet health, mana, hunger, and sympathy page has been completed. If you're not sure how to take care of your new Scra-chi or Ichi's needs, take a look at it!
- The New pet XP gain page has been renamed and moved from the test area into the Pets section, please help fill in information for it if you have a Scra-chi or Ichi.
- The New pet reviving page has been created explaining the two methods of reviving, and a table for revive costs has been created. It is much more expensive to revive the new pets than it is to revive horses and drakes. If your Scra-chi or Ichi dies, please take it to the Animal Trainer and see how much it costs to revive it at whatever its level is, then help us by filling in that number on the revive cost table. :)

- Level 32 "Endemic Hat: is now "Endemic Hood"
- Level 32 "Endemic Shoes" is now "Endemic Boots"

The wiki has been updated with these changes.
Vindalanda has pointed out that the infamous "Skeamp" in the level 27-30
Remnants of Akemon quest have finally been renamed to what they really are--Butchers! The information on the quest list has been changed to reflect this.
Have any of you looked at the profile pages recently? If not, go do it now! Wetpaint has added a new feature that allows you to write a personalized
slogan to your profile page. I just put mine up, now let's see what you all can come up with! :)
Update: November 9, 2008 -The wiki is one year old!
Over the past year we have gained
504 new pages (almost one and a half per day!),
644 new members (almost two per day!), over
1 million visits and over
5 million pageviews (you can do the per day math). Not to mention the biggest and most well-done collection of game information available to the players of LC in
all the versions, not just LC USA!
Thank you to everyone who's contributed their time and knowledge to this site.
Without you all--you who run around scribbling down numbers, you who test the skills, you who check XP for monster after monster, you who buy items just for screenshots, you who tediously write event guides, you who scan the pages for grammar mistakes, you who sneakily PM me info at 2am, you who come up with new page ideas, and all the rest of you--
this wiki could not be the awesome site it is today. Thank you so much!
Update: November 4, 2008 -The new user interface and pets have arrived!
See the
pet page for more information about the two new pets, Ichi and Scra-chi. On the forums, general information about the new pets may be found in
this forum topic and descriptions of the pet quests may be found in
this forum topic and the
pet quests page. More info will be added to the wiki as we learn more from interacting with the pets in-game.
Two screenshots of the new interface may be found below.
New features include:
- A picture of your character's class in the upper left corner.
- Shortcut bar is now right below the chat box.
- Two more slots in the Hotkey bar.
- More detailed character information including evasion, magical hit rate, critical rate, and movement speed.
- Trash can to delete any item in your inventory.
- Tabbed division of the inventory. Four general tabs, one event tab, and one quest tab now.
