During the Origami event monsters drop three different colors of paper. These papers may be collected by players and given to Lorraine in exchange for a reward, or players may attempt to upgrade the various paper colors to turn them into paper with a"better" color. As a general rule, the better your paper color, the better a reward you will receive. Golden paper has had no confirmed drops, so the only confirmed way to get golden paper is to "upgrade" silver. Here are the four paper colors: Green Red Silver Gold IMPORTANT: Although the event states you may turn papers in 1 month after they stop dropping from monsters, Lorraine contains no dialogue options to do so.

When you talk to Lorraine about the event you will be presented with two options. The first option, 1. folding paper, allows you to turn in three of your current papers for a reward. The second, 2. Combination of colored papers, allows you to attempt to "upgrade" your paper color. When upgrading your paper you must combine five of one color. If the upgrading is successful, you lose your five papers and receive one paper of the color that is one "better" (eg. 5 green = 1 red, 5 red = 1 silver). If the upgrading fails, you lose four of your five papers and receive one of them back.

When attempting to upgrade/combine your paper you will receive an error message saying "You should be equipped with a shield" if you have fewer than five of the paper color that you're trying to upgrade. You will also receive this message if you try to fill the folding paper slots with more paper than you actually have. For example, if you have two green papers you can fill all three slots with them. However, when the game tries to remove three green papers from your inventory it will be unable to (because you only have two green), so you will not be allowed to complete the transaction.

	When turning in ("folding") your paper to Lorraine, the way you place your papers in the window does matter and does change the possible reward. The table below lists all the different combinations and the rewards you may get from each.
