Pet quests
For all the pet quests, the given NPC overviews and conclusions are translations from the ones that are shown in-game. Most of in-game NPC text that goes with the pet quests is misspelt and grammatically flawed. Instead of putting down their exact speech word-for-word and giving you a headache from trying to decipher it, we have gone ahead and written out what the NPCs mean to say.
After completing one of these pet quests and getting your own little Pony (horse), Hatchling (drake), Scra-chi (cat), or Ichi (squirrel), visit the pet section of this wiki to learn about how to care for it, what skills it can learn, how to help it grow, how to name it, and more!
Quest name: Pan's Flute
NPC: Lorraine / Randol City / Juno
Level requirement: 1 - 99
Other requirement: Must have item titled Pan Flute.
NPC Overview: (Lorraine) You have a question for me? Let me see... this is Pan's flute. Don't you know it is dangerous stuff? Pan's flute is for summoning a wild horse named Knightmare. Nobody can train the Knightmare yet. But no worries. There is an archaeologist called Jajan who knows how to summon a baby Knightmare. Just go and see Archaeologist Jajan.
Simple Objective: Talk to Archaeologist Jajan in Dratan City, Dratan, to have him summon a horse for you.
NPC Conclusion: (Jajan) Do you have Pan's flute? The flute is for summoning a wild horse named Knightmare. Knightmares look like normal horses, but they are dangerous. You have to summon a baby Knightmare and train it, not an adult Knightmare. Otherwise--according to script I found in Prokion Shrine--there will be a disaster. Don't worry, there is a way to summon a baby Knightmare. Just wait. Ah... look at the pretty baby horse! It looks healthy. I really want to keep it, but it's not mine. You should have it.

Other requirement: Must have item titled Blue Pan Flute.
NPC Overview: (Lorraine) Do you have something to ask me hero? Oh, what is this?! It is the cursed Pan's Flute! And its color is blue? I have never seen this. I know that the Pan's Flute holds a terrible beast within it called the Knightmare. But this blue color is a mystery to me. You should take this to the Archaeologist Jajan in Dratan. He studies the gods and their secrets. Perhaps he will know more about this Blue Pan's Flute.
Simple Objective: Talk to Archaeologist Jajan in Dratan City, Dratan, to have him summon a blue horse for you.
NPC Conclusion: (Jajan) What, what, WHAT?!! A Blue Pan's Flute?!! Oh my! This is truly magical! The Blue Knightmares were a gift from the gods back when the lands were pure. NPC Overview: (Lorraine) Oh... this is Drake's egg. Lucky you, you found a rare Drake's egg. I've heard that after hatching and training it, it will grow into a Dragon like the kind that are in legends. Find Archaeologist Jajan, who has studied books of good in the Dratan shrine, and let him tell you more about Drake's egg. Some people say he only studies, but at least he's a man who knows a lot about the books of good.

NPC Conclusion: (Jajan) What's this in your pocket? It's Drake's egg! Does this mean the ancient books were true? They say that the gods created the Dragon in the middle world. The Dragon had both natural viciousness and docility when the gods first came. But as the gods disappeared from the middle world, the Dragon became more scarce. With this egg you have, however, it is possible that the Dragon may be reborn. With an incantation of rebirth, we may yet again have Dragons. I'll proceed with the ceremony according to the incantation. Wait a second... congratulations! This is incredible. The egg hatched a small, pretty Dragon. I can't believe that it will ever grow into a terrible Dragon--it looks like such a pretty baby one right now. But... be careful. According to the legend, it will become a great, terrible Dragon. Anyway, I'll give the baby Dragon to you for you to train.

Note:
You must get all the gems for yourself. Just take a look at the quest and you'll see why. It's a big quest that has five smaller parts. Each of the small parts must be completed in sequence before you are allowed to complete the big quest. While doing the smaller parts you receive the gems as a reward. Even if you just buy the gems, you cannot skip ahead to complete the big quest.
The five smaller quests not only reward you with gems, but ALSO with a completed Book of Life. As you do the five smaller quests more torn pieces are added on to your torn piece and in the end you have a complete book. This complete book is required to finish the pet quest; without it you don't know the spell to summon your new pet! :)
Also, each NPC directs you to the next. You cannot skip one NPC... you must see them all in order. To be directed to each new NPC in the quest you must fulfill the request of the previous one. If you don't fulfill a request, then you don't move on to the next NPC and the quest cannot be completed because you won't meet the requirements for completing it.
Quest name: Torn Book of Life Chapter 2 (a.k.a. Ichi quest)

Simple Objective: Take the Torn Book of Life Chapter 2 to the Velpist Temple and talk to the Sealed Book of Life NPC.

Quest name: Ichi' Gem Stone (continuation of Ichi quest)

Other requirement: Must have completed the quest titled Torn Book of Life Chapter 2 and have item titled Book of Life Chapter 2-2.
NPC Overview: (Book) "A courageous one! Good. OK, then, let's get to the business. To summon Bony, a life created by Master adonis, you need three different Gold Gem Stones scattered throughout the all over the world. Also you need to bring the two pages of Book of Life. Three Gold Gem Stones must contain Hope, The Eternal, and Resurrection. When you collect all three types of Gold Gem Stones, bring them to me. You will find the two pages of Book of Life on the way to collect the three of Gold Gem Stones. You can ask Wise Girl Magician in Randol Village for the hint to find the Gem Stone of Hope. I wish you the best! Hope to see you soon again!"
Simple Objective: To summon up Ichi, the treasure of Adonis, bring 3 Gold Gem Stones of Hope, The Eternal, and Resurrection to the Book of Life.

If I remember right, hmm, the one who falls asleep holding the Book of Life will receive treasures! It is told that it enlists all the forbidden magic spells of the legendary continent, Lunasis. As far as I know, the magic spells are about curing lives. The reason they were forbidden to be used among many is because everyone wanted to know. You must feel very lucky to have the book! Oh, go on and check the messages from the sealed Book of Life, which is hidden somewhere in the Velpist Temple. Please be careful, though, there are loads of scary monsters!

NPC Overview: (Magician) Book of Life. Hmm, I have heard of it for sure. That's been cursed, hasn't it? Doesn't it scare you off? Dark Gem Stones? My good Lord! Like the name, the look scary! I can feel evil spirits spreading out from them. Shoot--I'm getting goosebumps. Oh, by the way, the Dark Gem Stones are not with me. The one for courage used to be here, but the Broken Moonstone Golem of Caron Village, Merac took it some time ago. Take 14 Dark Orbs and 17 Myst Eyes with you when you go see the Broken Moonstone Golem. I traded the Dark Gem Stone of Courage to him for these beads and eyes.
Simple Objective: Collect 14 Dark Orbs and 17 Myst Eyes and give them to the Broken Moonstone Golem in Caron Village, Merac. Dark Orbs may be gotten from Dark Goddesses, Orc Soldiers, Orc Fighters, Orc Axemen, and Orc Sergeants. Myst Eyes may be gotten from Poison Mysts and Master of Secret Techniques.
NPC Conclusion: (Golem) Did the Magician want Dark Gem Stone of Courage back? Hmm. It's a shame that I have to return it now. I barely used it. If you have bought the black beeds and eyes of mist, I am gonna have to give it back. Here it is, take it!

NPC Overview: (Golem) Do you have some time? Please, please, please, please hear me out. I beg you. *tears* The Great Magician Minearm visited here couple days ago. You know, the one with scary face? Anyway, the problem is that I made a bad liquid potion with the good quality moonstones he gave me. I was in a very bad shape! *tears* I was so scared. He was so angry that he forgot to put a spell on me... it's all my fault. Now I can hardly move since most of my magical power is used up. I think something's wrong with me. Listen, can you hear that squeaking sound when I open my mouth? Anyhow, I think I am going to return the moonstones to master Minearm. Since I can barely move my body, do you think you could help me? Would you please get 3 Perfect Moonstones and return them to master Minearm? He knows a lot of Dark Gem Stones. Maybe he can help you with them more than I can. Thank you so much!

They are the product of Stone Processing. If you visit Spirit Magician Heras and give them to him, he will make a Dark Gem Stone of Time with them. Heras is a magician who communicates with the spirits in Aaron, Egeha, and studies the memories of the spirits. I think that is why he doesn't like to talk to other people, but I will tell him that you will visit him shortly.

Why didn't you tell me so beforehand?! Alright, alright. I will make you one. I need youto go get some materials made from a Knightmare. Bring a Horse Mane and a Horse Skin. We'll chat again after you bring those two materials.
Simple Objective: Collect 1 Horse Mane and 1 Horse Skin and take them to Spirit Magician Heras in Aaron Village, Egeha.
NPC Conclusion: (Heras) Hmm... I guess these are good enough to use. Ok, I need to start a little ceremony to bring up spirits. Turn around and don't open your eyes until I tell you so. If you turn around and see what's going to happen here, evil spirits might get to you.

Since you have been very nice, I am giving you a special discount. Hand over the money to me before I change my mind.
Simple Objective: Collect 10 Coin of Masters take them to Spirit Magician Heras in Aaron Village, Egeha.
NPC Conclusion: (Heras) Here you go. I guess you finally gathered up all three Dark Gem Stones. You said... uh... Book of Life in the Velpist Temple? I don't know what you want to make from these, but be careful! Now, leave me alone so I can finish up what I was doing!

This is a very long quest. All the different parts are listed here, each with its own title, overview, and reward, but without dividers between the parts. Instead of a divider there is a double empty line. Note:
You must get all the gems for yourself. Just take a look at the quest and you'll see why. It's a big quest that has five smaller parts. Each of the small parts must be completed in sequence before you are allowed to complete the big quest. While doing the smaller parts you receive the gems as a reward. Even if you just buy the gems, you cannot skip ahead to complete the big quest.
The five smaller quests not only reward you with gems, but ALSO with a completed Book of Life. As you do the five smaller quests more torn pieces are added on to your torn piece and in the end you have a complete book. This complete book is required to finish the pet quest; without it you don't know the spell to summon your new pet! :)
Also, each NPC directs you to the next. You cannot skip one NPC... you must see them all in order. To be directed to each new NPC in the quest you must fulfill the request of the previous one. If you don't fulfill a request, then you don't move on to the next NPC and the quest cannot be completed because you won't meet the requirements for completing it.

To summon Bony, a life created by Master adonis, you need three different Gold Gem Stones scattered throughout the all over the world. Also you need to bring the two pages of Book of Life. Three Gold Gem Stones must contain Hope, The Eternal, and Resurrection. When you collect all three types of Gold Gem Stones, bring them to me. You will find the two pages of Book of Life on the way to collect the three of Gold Gem Stones. You can ask Wise Girl Magician in Randol Village for the hint to find the Gem Stone of Hope. I cannot make one, but I will tell you who can if you share some of your treasures. hehe. You know where Keron in Merac? If you go to there, you can find Moonstone Gorem. It looks kinda shabby outside, it has lots of treasures. Remember to bring 14 Fox Tails and 17 Horn Beast Eyes. That Moonstone Golem is kinda avaricious."

hey peolple, i seriusly need hel. There's no way i can get 14 foxtais and 17 hornbeasteyes..Isn't any othe way to do this?? I'v killed over 800 fox and get 2 foxtails..
am i doomed to hunt foxes to the rest of my life?? lolol please Help me |
