Scra-chi and ichi general informationThis is a featured page

The pets Ichi and Scra-Chi differ from horses and drakes in that they can fight, wear armor, wield weapons, use combat skills, and cannot be mounted. See the Scra-chi and ichi skills page and Scra-chi and ichi armors and weapons page for more information. Of course, you still have to keep your pet healthy, full, and sympathizing. These pets cannot be traded while wearing armor or wielding a weapon. They may not be stored in the warehouse either. The Scra-Chi and Ichi pets do not benefit from double pet experience events. These pets even have stat points. However, these stat points cannot be reset. Every level your pet gets 9 stat points. All stat points are applied to your pet only. The table below lists what each stat point gives your pet.

Stat
Bonus
Strength
+1.5 Attack
Dexterity
+1 Accuracy rate
+0.25 Evasion
Intelligence
+1 Magic defense
+8 Mana
Consitution
+9 Health
+5 Defense

The experience your pet needs to level is same as a horse or drake of the same level, but unlike them, it will only get experience when you kill monsters. See the Scra-chi and ichi XP needed to level and Scra-chi and ichi XP gain pages for more information.

The Scra-Chi and Ichi pets cost more money to revive at the Animal Trainer and have 50% health. They can, however, be unsealed for free, for the time being, at the Archbishop in Randol, but will only have 3% health. See the Scra-chi and ichi reviving page for more information.

Note:
You must get all the gems for yourself. Just take a look at the quest and you'll see why. It's a big quest that has five smaller parts. Each of the small parts must be completed in sequence before you are allowed to complete the big quest. While doing the smaller parts you receive the gems as a reward. Even if you just buy the gems, you cannot skip ahead to complete the big quest.

The five smaller quests not only reward you with gems, but ALSO with a completed Book of Life. As you do the five smaller quests more torn pieces are added on to your torn piece and in the end you have a complete book. This complete book is required to finish the pet quest; without it you don't know the spell to summon your new pet! :)

Also, each NPC directs you to the next. You cannot skip one NPC... you must see them all in order. To be directed to each new NPC in the quest you must fulfill the request of the previous one. If you don't fulfill a request, then you don't move on to the next NPC and the quest cannot be completed because you won't meet the requirements for completing it.
