I'm sure you've probably already heard the term "solo party" before. It's the most popular type of party, favored because of the boosted Experience and Skill Experience you receive while in one.
So what is a solo party?
A solo party is, simply, a party in which all the members stay off each others' radar. Solo parties may be performed with an Equal or a Combat party. Precedence parties do not work for soloing because you do not get Experience and Skill Experience boosts while in a Precedence party.
Solo parties are used for SP-farming because you get the maximum possible Skill Experience (as well as Experience) per kill while soloing. Please look at the
SXP guide page to see which monsters give the most Skill Experience at the different levels.
Most solo parties are also chat parties. In a chat party, there are always two or more talkative members who keep conversation going. This helps provide entertainment during the long hours of grinding, as well as spread little-known or useful hints about the game. Some chat parties also keep an eye out for new players on the
available party list so they can answer their questions for them and help them out if necessary.
