| The game starts with the first Personal Dungeon quest, called the Entrance of Straia. This introduces you to the solo-player side of the game, which many people would probably never discover or take part in if they were not forced to begin the game that way. | ||
| | This dungeon is L-shaped. You must run through the big door ahead of you, kill the various level 1 monsters that attack you in the following hallway, turn the corner, and run into the next big room at the end of the hall. Inside the big room you will be swarmed by hordes of monsters. Don't panic! If your health starts dropping low, you may retreat back into the L hallway and take on the monsters one by one as they follow you. After finishing with the monsters, don't forget to pick up the gold. It is the game's currency--almost everything you buy and sell will be bought with or sold for gold. Here are some screenshots from the dungeon: | |
| When you approach the second doors and they open for you, you should receive the message to on the right. There is no need to go through the second doors, just confirm the welcome message. Note: If by chance you do decide to go through the second doors, you will find a darkened hallway, a pitch-black room, then another hallway. The floor will crumble beneath you and you will fall through, becoming stuck in a round room in which you'll run in infinite circles until you confirm your welcome message! | | |
| Once you have reached the end of the dungeon you will receive this message. Click the "Confirm" button to be teleported into Randol City, on the map Juno. This is the main city because it is the place where everyone spawns upon logging in. There you will find quests to do, places to buy new armor and weapons, NPCs to teach you new skills, and more! You will also find many, many players who will be more than happy to answer your questions and help you out. One of them might even ask you to become their apprentice--who knows! | ||
| | Here's the map of Randol City. Go ahead and try moving your mouse cursor over the different NPC markers on the map to see their names and a brief description of who they are or what they are for. Some of the most important NPCs in this city are Lorraine, Merchant Geres, Armor Trader Rowel, Weapon Trader Baron, Storekeeper Bianca, Animal Trainer, and Teleporter Eteal. Your class' Master NPC is also very important. Memorizing the locations of these NPCs and the paths taken to get to them will help you out a lot. Randol City is surrounded by a moat. To leave the city, you need to go out one of its two gates and over the drawbridge. There's one gate on the north side of the city and one gate on the west side. If you look at the walls, the gates are located in the spots where the big, square-shaped blocks are. |
| | Leave the city through either of the gates and start your journey through the land of Iris! The first few monsters you run into will probably be Deer and Foxes. Don't be afraid to attack them! They are passive, so they will not attack you until you hit them. These creatures are both level 1, so you shouldn't get hurt much by them, if any. If you do get hurt, you can pause to let your health and mana regenerate. To make it regenerate faster, press the hotkey F6. This will cause your character to sit. | | |||||||
| You will level up after killing a dozen or so of these creatures. When you level up, a bright burst of light suddenly descends on you, sparkles, then fades out just as fast as it arrived. Here's what the level-up light looks like: After you reach level 2 or level 3 you will be strong enough to move on to some tougher monsters--Wolves. Read more about them on the Juno monsters page. Good luck with your adventures! Remember, above all and in the end, the goal of the game is to have fun. | |||||||||
