Monster Defense

In the monster information pages you can see Monster attack and defense. Example: Attack: 580 / Defense: 2,113 (Cursed Spider for example).
Wouldnt it be more helpful to have the HP of the monster (and maybe a regeneration rate) for the monsters? So you could "calculate" how many of your normal hits you need to kill the monster.

Beware! This again is one of Myko's ideas and might cause enormous amounts of work ;)

I also like the idea of a list of monster hp too. But it is not necesarily more helpful as knowinf the attack and defense helps you choose creatures that are better for you to attack, especially for pet trainers. Do you find this valuable?

good idear but all so the defence of a monster determens the amount of dmg you can do it i know i can do 4500 dmg to a low lvl mob in one hit but a high lvl mob may only take 600~700 a hit Do you find this valuable?

I think it'd be neat to know how much HP each monster has. We could try to do it, if more than the usual four people are willing to pitch in and help, lol.

I calculated HP once for the Pumpkin Ghost last year. To do it, you just have to kill the same monster quite a few times over (I'd suggest 10-30), write down the amount of damage it takes to kill the monster each time, then add the damage and average it to find the monster's HP. Assuming 1 damage = 1 HP. The monster would probably have to be around your level so it would NOT regen HP faster than you can damage it. If a monster is regenerating HP too fast, it will skew the results.

Please just don't use any sort of hack or bot to find monster HP. Earlier this year someone offered me such a program to use to gather info for the wiki, and of course I checked with a GM about it first and found out it was bannable to use it.
